Yeah next run I'm going to try to grow a plant in perlite and feed it nothing but Charlie carp in veg and Charlie carp and a pk boost in flower!!
Works out to be less than 1/8 the cost of bottles from the hydro shop and simple as fuck at 30ml per 10lt if I remember!!
According to the bottle it has the 12 necessary elements for all plants!!
See how I go!!
As long as you can handle the smell.

Use female seeds to avoid that problem. It is 2023, and feminised seeds have been effectively used throughout the world for the last few decades. 7East breeder reckons he's experienced about 7-8% hermies when playing with females. That's bugger all, and much better than than 50% ( sometimes more) males in a reg packet. Ive seen a similar argument before, as LED lights took over from shitty HPS. Same old shitty growers with their antiquated views, will of course dribble shit about using males for last 40 years ......blah, blah, blah, blah, dribble. Nobody buys watermelon with seeds anymore. Buyers also prefer seedless oranges and mandarins. Cannabis will eventually go the same way. Tissue culture will take over from cannabis seeds in foreseeable future.
you don't think producing a fruit or vegetable that doesn't produce seed is manipulating the farmer to always have to buy seed to farm ?

what would you think if the feminized seeds you buy were manufactured to never be able to produce pollen via manipulation , forcing you to be only ever able to purchase seed & never be able to produce your own as you do now

you don't think seedless produce is a money making exercise for a corporation ?

Is Roundup Ready corn sterile?

Current Roundup Ready crops include soy, corn, canola, alfalfa, cotton, and sorghum, with wheat under development. Roundup Ready crop seeds have notoriously been referred to as "terminator seeds." This is because the crops produced from Roundup Ready seeds are sterile.

Most strains have already been feminised somewhere in the world. We won't need seeds soon enough. We will start crops in petrie dishes, using tissue culture. Cannabis seedbanks( most, not all) are already raping punters of their hard earned coin, with the prices they charge. 40 years ago, just about every bag came with free seeds. They will profit one way or the other, if we depend on them. I'll happily use tissue culture if the science becomes readily available to a layman like me.

yes feminizing of cannabis has been happening for many year now & so has utilizing tissue culture in the world of agriculture

but the point i was trying to convey is i don't think you should be so willing to give up a freedom you currently utilize , once you give up that freedom very rarely is that freedom returned

the fact we are all being raped by current seed prices is more reason to fight not through hands up & accept what soon will be major corporations dishing out possible GM generic seeds at supermarket prices as your only option

you might be happy to use tissue culture to do your thing but what happens to your thing if tissue culture isn't made available to you , as you already recognize if big business sees a dollars to be made they will do there best to kill off all mum & pop operations to monopolize the cannabis industry for there own benefit

even a layman understands when there is money to be made me & you ain't going to be the ones able to making it

do i need to mention big business , covid & money Vs benefit !

Sad thing is we all are every day!!
basically your right porky but we can minimize our exposure by the choices we make , ditch convenience foods for a whole food diet

unfortunately some of us will spend thousands on house hold items so the house "looks" good , which has very little to no effect on our health , although you could argue that too

then at the same time people want the cheapest supermarket food they can buy , to the point it becomes some sort of game " Get down to Aldi bananas are going cheap " food has the biggest impact on our health we should want the best imho

not as easy to do as it is to say but try keeping away from the big 3

Refined flour (i.e. breads, cereals, pasta, etc.), refined sugar (i.e. table sugar, high fructose corn syrup), and vegetable n seed oils (canola, corn, cottonseed, soybean, safflower, sunflower, sesame) make up more than 50% of the total daily calories consumed by the average person in the industrial world. These three food toxins are one of the biggest causes of chronic illnesses we see today.

Having an inflammatory illness hit me in my late 20s (lupus and RA) really put into perspective how much refined flours, sugars and oils effect or health.

I tried all sorts of immunosuppressive medications and anti inflammatories to lower my Inflammatory markers which then lead to kidney and liver problems and the circle just kept repeating.

I never took the whole "inflammatory foods" seriously as I wasn't overweight or binge eating, and had what I assumed was a healthy diet due to media influence. It was amazing how much lower my Inflammatory markers are on a whole food diet (Mediterranean).

Not to mention how much our gluttony when it comes to food being one of the leading contributors when it comes to the planet losing its ability to harbour us happily. Luckily we'll shit ourselves long before the earth will though.

You forgot to mention beer. It makes up a fair proportion of the Aussie male daily calorie intake. 😉🇦🇺. Meat pies are also part of a balanced diet. 😜Local bakeries are specialising in brisket, jalapeno and cheese gourmet delicacies, which has renewed my enthusiasm for the humble "dogs eye" . Ive noticed a huge resurgence in "rats coffins" around here, and the popular bakeries are frequently selling out before lunchtime. . Not sure if it's a local trend or Aus-wide?

You don't make friends with salad. Unless it's the devil's lettuce, on offer. Then everyone wants to be your friend 😂

I agree this is true but governments should have some spine and legislate against these chemicals even being allowed to be made or imported into the country let alone let farmers have free rain of their use on food for human consumption!!
I wont even mention the damage these chemicals have on the environment and other fauna!!
