Who would've thought that a simple 12-bar blues song from an English band in 1974 could be so prescient of Trump's current global economic mis-management???

Coles forever ruined that song for me - and shame on Status Quo for taking the money and allowing them to use it, though I guess that moola would have been tempting in their old age so who am I to judge ? Still -> SHAME !!! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I completely agree with you about the Coles sellout shit, 'ruined it for me too.

Still, a great band live. 'Saw them headline at Castle Donington in 1982 in front of 60K-70K & again in Melbourne decades later, when I took my nephew to his first-ever live gig (he would've been about 10!!).

After I took him to see Metallica at Rod Laver Arena (his Mum didn't want to endure it), the poor bastard is now mainlined into some of the most horrendously shitful hardcore metal.🤮

Ashamed to say they were the first live concert I saw, aged about 11 in the early 70's at the Melb Showgrounds. Slade and Lindisfarne were also on the bill.

I thought the Rolling Stones was your first live gig??

'Saw Slade in December 1982 at the University of East Anglia Common Room. Fucking awesome & FUCKING LOUD!!

Soaked in sweat from being in the "mosh-pit", we walked through freezing fog to a mate's place to crash for the night. It was FUCKING COLD!!!!

I had a can of beer in my jacket that was body-temperature warm, but we shared it (& another spliff of hash) during the walk.

Oh, to be a teenager again.......

Stones were around the same time. One or the other - probably Stones was the first.

If you had to be reincarnated as an animal that smokes cones with tradies behind the servo—what are you picking, and what’s your stoner animal name?

I’m thinking… a kookaburra named Daz, who only smokes out of half-crushed Gatorade bottles and laughs mid-cone.

Your turn.

I have no doubt Albanese will vote for this .
I suppose you lefties will say it’s a good thing,

Unfortunately for you and the rest of the extremist paedophile worshippers the rest of the world knows how disgusting the policys of the right are and have decided to turn away and go more left.
Your views and values are a stain on humanity and the environment and deserve to be flushed down the toilet like the shit they are.

American is the last bastion of these idiotic views and values and they will slowly implode and try to drag the rest of western society down with them as witnessed by the paedophile worshipping on this forum there are some who deserve to go down with their paedophile hero.
