Looks the goods mate, spectrum looks in the zone as well. Is it going to be a top light fixture or are you supplementing sides etc?

Just a top light fixture, mainly just for flowering out seeded plants and autos. Figured that the 4000k with the added reds would be pretty ideal for flowering.

They also have them in 5000k I am pretty sure, unlike most of the Samsung strips these ones are rated between 42v-44v, prior versions being 48v.

Lucky for me I've got some meanwell 42v drivers which were running bridgelux eb gen2 3500k strips (39v I think they were rated for) which are perfect for driving these new Samsung strips.

I'll use my mars TSL2000 for keeping mothers as it has a good spike of blue to keep them short. too many times I've had great plants die on me when attempting to reveg. so I'm just going to have to clone everything from now on.

One of my favourite lights(I prefer the 10 bar 1000w) These tick all the boxes for me and I love the variable spectrum with reduced red spectrum for veg which grows stockier plants.

Huge Par from directly under the globe with these 400v DE HPS drops dramatically on the outer areas of a grow space. Spectrum like all HPS are not great but out of all HPS fixtures, 400v DE are the best and have higher CRI and output than a standard HPS.

Probably the best light I have tested that is not an LED. High output, good CRI and a pretty decent spectrum with low end blues and UV which will help with resin production.

I can't remember, @Slash is the white line the output of an average HPS or the optimum spectrum a plant uses?

Edit: After guessing it must be the plant absorption as HPS doesn't have that much blue I don't think lol

The white line is a reference and indicates the light parameter that a cannabis plant can absorb.

White line represents what a cannabis plant can use. It’s important to cover that white line as much as possible on the right hand side and have a decent spike of blue to produce optimum flower
