Sales, Discounts and Cheap Shit I've seen online 🤑

I frequently see things going cheap or included in a good deal, but often as I don't need it/don't use that brand etc. I just pass it by and often forget to mention it to others unless I already know someone is looking for it in particular.

So I thought I'd start a thread to post sales, discounts or just cheap/good deals I've noticed during the course of my daily interwebbing.

Feel free to post up anything you think may be of interest to others, just keep it "grow related" ...I don't want to know about the great deal you got on your used butt plug

Well I'm all for cheap so I'll contribute. Firstly I'll mention CRXSUNNY grow lights. I bought some TS1000's for $39 each (eBay delivery included), these lights do a 3x3 veg or 2x2 flower space. To start with I figured they'd be absolute rubbish (but would be okay for my seedlings and cuttings at least) but its exceeded my expectations. Plugged into a watt meter and it draws the exact wattage listed in the specs (just over 100w) and can be dimmed down to ~20w. House has not burnt down either which is also a bonus 👍

Gotta mention the powdered nutrients i have been using which have also been successful for me.
Campbell's Diamond Special T, Calcium Nitrate, Magnesium Sulfate and Monopotassium Phosphate. While it can be pricey upfront (considering how much you buy), the savings will be well worth it in the long run compared to using bottled nutes. Super clean, gets my pH down to around 6.5 without pH down, the plants love it. I just use half the recommended dosage and get an EC of around 1.0
Pretty much just use 1 part Special T, 1 part Calcium Nitrate and 1/2 part Magsulf for veg
Around week 3-4 flower change it up to 3/4 part Special T, 1/2 part Calnit, 1/2 part Magsulf and add MKP sparingly (for myself about 0.8g-1g per 10L of water. Highly recommend if you don't mind an extra 2-3 minutes of mixing nutes together. Sorry for rambling 😆

How on earth is it that cheap? Aqua gardening always has the most competitive prices and they're not even close to this even when on sale.

Well it's cheaper than AG by $94.90 ...is that not a big enough saving for you?

Also, you're living under a rock if you think "Aqua gardening always has the most competitive prices". They often have good deals on, but on the whole their standard prices are expensive.

Don't get me wrong, I've been a customer of theirs for years, but I only buy from them when they have shit on special. 90% of their stock is overpriced.
