Odd
I took the first bud I put in the freezer out today. It’s been in there 3 1/2 weeks.
Thawed it out. It feels “wet” , as in not dry.
But it burns up fine !
Looks just like the day I put it in there and feels like it too.
But it bloody well burns !

I am going insane ;)

Have you got a photo of what it looks like?
Ouhh, did you weigh it before it went in and what it is now?

Bud looks awesome and fresh before drying then it changes soooo much... It'd trip me out handling dry, fresh looking bud lol.

Give them another week or two in the freezer, then hang them up overnight

It’s changing …. It still feels wet and doesn’t look dry, just more wilted than it did.

Didn’t weigh it. But I will with some other stuff. Good idea.

That all looks and sounds par for the course. The buds won't loose size or shape in the freezer, making for an impressive looking final product. I found they needed to air out overnight to come right
Good to know. Hate to waste a harvest ;)

watch the video i reckon mate if you haven't already , he's the designer of the cannatrol & has gone down the rabbit hole of the ins & outs of drying & curing , as @Pikey mentioned " Very informative "
Thanks. I watched it.
All very interesting.
Intersting about the different forms of water and what needs to be evaporated and what doesn’t. And the result in extra weight. Seems like you’d be paying for extra water unless I’m misunderstanding.

Many thanks

Ok next question
As I’ll run out of space in freezer

When dry. Would it be aok to put in buckets with lids. In the fridge ( as fridge side of freezer isn’t being used ).

Say…. Dry a month or so in freezer
Take out and put in buckets and into fridge
( Bodeva ??)

Maybe air dry for 24 hours before going into buckets.

Google seems to mostly say DONT STORE WEED IN THE FRIDGE, but it also mostly says you can’t dry in freezer so I’m taking it all with a grain of salt.

I’ll experiment unless someone has experience.

I think as long as the buds are properly dried before storage and the bucket you store them in is Air tight
then a fridge should be okay for storage . Just to be safe I'd also remove the light from the fridge if possible
so it remains dark in there even when the doors open

My freezer test didn't work. After about 4 months they come out too wet. It's a new but low end/budget LG freezer. I'm drying them now in brown paper bags under a fan.
