Yeah of course billy ya DC.Got the following advice from Matt at Easy as..... not really what I wanted to hear.
Thats alot of cycles in pots to only amend with kelp meal. I would suggest with no till in smaller containers to topdress with a more balanced amendment blend... kelp contains alot of trace elements but you need to restore all other macro nutrients as well. High quality Worm castings and or compost should be applied omce or twice each growing cycle. And obviously, best practice with environment applies. Cold weather will cause soil biology to go dormant, slowing everything down and reducing nutrient availability.
Personally I would either start with new soil or take soil, put on tarp, mix 2 parts old soil, 1 part worm castings and 1 part aeration.. then add 1 cup per 30L of Regenerate or any organic, well rounded fertiliser. Wet and allow to cook for 1 to 2 weeks, then mulch and plant into containers 50L or more.
Yeah of course billy ya DC.
What did you think you could just keep growing over and over in the same pot amd just add kelp.
