WHY ??

I don't know what Frank wants. But I want access to tested, stable, female photoperiod seeds. I want to read about experiences from people who have actually grown these genetics. I want to know who the best breeder of female seeds is in Australia.

Hahaha those questions are subjective mate. I may grow something and not think much of it and others may think it’s awesome.
When ya been growing for a while you will discover this for ya self mate. I’ve been growing for 21 years on and off and I still haven’t answered those questions for me self. Maybe that’s the beauty of growing plants they are all different. Well except for clones.

Honestly not too sure, been on a few different types of forums over the years don't remember a perfect one.

For a canna related site especially an aussie one i would like a large diverse group able to discuss topics etc.

Reality is at the moment it seems like most of the members here are a clique from OSA which has started there own thing, which isn't a bad thing and have seen it before. But a larger audience may not be too keen on personal inside sledges spammed in the new posts section rather than canna related things. I understand they in your own threads. But that's jsut leading me to not post in topics so i don't get spammed with pedro posted porky sucks at growing x amount of times in a thread you've posted in.

But I also genuinely enjoy the back and forth between me and him. If I didn’t I wouldn’t bother.
I’ve been banned from GC in the states because of the arguments I’ve had over religion and politics.
Yes this is a clique from osa but it’s only a few months old but I think it’s going to be a good forum.

Ok. I'll narrow down my expectations. I don't want to know the best, I want to know just ONE Aussie breeder of quality female genetics. Just one !! Of course I want to be able to swap or buy seeds from that breeder

OSA is outdated, hence this forum being created. All Canna forums are likely to be similar, just trying to keep this one active, modern and above all else secure.

Stay tuned for Aussie breeders of FEM seeds. Making a few connections and in time should be able to offer something.

It’s illegal here mate there isn’t a large amount of people doing what you want mate. Just the way it is in OZ at the moment. Hopefully that will change in future.

Agree with what you are saying Frank, and that is pretty much how this place got going, from OSA members.

The shit talk is generally contained to the grow diaries and this is not visible to non members, so should not be too discouraging i would not think... in any case it is difficult to stop and I do not have the inclination to try and delete and tidy up threads that I think may be offensive to others... I simply do not have the time.

The Aussie breeders ( and sellers) of regular seeds don't seem overly concerned that's it's illegal. They just concentrate on regular seeds for some reason.

IMO aussie seed vendors are retards because they blatantly break the law in plain site and ask for trouble in a big way. I'm not sure that you can expect the same retards to ace the breeding part, given the stupidity of what they do.

I reckon you'd be a more
trustworthy breeder than most of those peop's fox. Just my opinion.

I can't speak for K9. But I can buy females in AUS, But they are sellers, not breeders. They just buy packs from overseas, and onsell here in AUS at a mark up price. No thanks, I'll buy them myself directly from O/S. Happy to buy in AUS, if someone put in some effort to actually breed ( and test) females here.

Yeah ok. Seeds look ok, but I'm not convinced on that brand mascot/logo. A winged goat just doesn't cut it....lol... have you considered a winged kangaroo?
