I am sensing a greater story in his new work, Pluribus. I think you're right on this one. Vince is one of the few directors I give the benefit of the doubt to and he never proves me wrong.

Getting a lot of backlash at the moment for the way he's doing stuff, the plot should thicken hopefully. I'll just let him cook first before tearing it apart

People have gotten used to ham-fisted plot exposition all in the first episode, they have been eating too much slop since BB and BCS. I think, like Vinces style, the first season was only meant to introduce us to the characters and their view/opinion on what to do. I don't want to spoil anything for others so I am being careful lol.

Looks modest, which I like. Wont last long. People will flock to that show due to its authenticity, then it will lose that by trying to make it like Game of Thrones. They cant keep a simple story simple, because if something makes money then SURELY there must be a way that it makes even MORE money and then its over...

But I agree. GREAT start to a show 😁 I loved that first episode. I usually fastforward droning and boring parts of TV shows, but even the long wide establishing shots I didn't skip past. I can see now why George has been on set and has been in such a good mood the past year, he is pretty happy with the direction of the show.

If you dont know, advanced copies of the whole season have already been sent out to many HUGE YouTubers, and they have all said (and I respect 2 of them highly) it was a fucking GREAT show from start to finish.

i didn't mind the start , didn't turn it off half way through but my anti virus popped up the moment i hit play catching something or other which is never a good start , nothing to do with the show of cause
what's the deal with showing the guy having diarrhea , was there dialogue i missed that made showing that make sense 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I wasn't sure what the go was with that either! I thought is it just meant to be a normal bowel movement but exaggerated. Few other questions but yeah why

I don't know aye. George RR Martin has commented already as well. He said, when they sent him copies of the show to review, at that scene he just wrote in his notes to the show runners "Why? What was that? Where did you get that from?" and he thinks rightly that poop is disgusting and that it should have been cut from the final release.

Vomiting because you're drunk makes sense in a TV show, you're showing the character is so drunk he is in a bad way, vomiting and such, it serves a purpose to say "hey, this guys going through something". What purpose does bro taking a shit serve? 🤣

By the way, any kind of popup could have caused that so don't worry, if you were infected Windows would be putting you through steps to clean your PC, there would be huge red Windows prompts saying you have "THIS SPECIFIC" malware.

Although rare now because of streaming, sites especially non legal ones like this (lookmovie) usually sell popups to companies, and those companies are mostly as legally gray as the website, so your anti virus probably has that company popup link on block because they don't trust it or it was reported by another user. That means when the pop up tries to come through, your anti virus stops it and pings you to let you know something happened even though you didn't see anything. That's what happens to me when I am using torrent and streaming sites.
