Morning all

I only joined last week and have been looking through as I wanna start up having a small outdoor grow. Only problem I am running into is finding reliable and affordable seeds. I know there’s hit and miss orders from overseas but I personally don’t have the time or money- if anyone can point me towards the best option or even wants to have a chat about starting off growing I would be greatful as.

Welcome. It can all be super overwhelming at first when it comes to sources and methods.

I'm lucky I started outdoors back in 2014ish when I was completely unaware of seed markets, strains and forums. Was easy enough to just chuck some bag seed in some pots outside and then into the garden bed. Got some super nice keepers over that time too, so don't get too caught up in needing the latest and greatest for your first run.

Wasn't until I started growing indoors in 2020 that I looked at seeds and all that. Sometimes I wish I can go back to a time before hype strains and shit.

Ahaha yea I get that, I’m not too fussy luckily. I’ve sowed like 20 bag seed over the past 3 months and none were viable seed- but I would’ve been happy with a little bum bush weed

I was going hard a good 10 yrs before you, and would been around 2014 got balls to pay for them. It sure was good times, but after many yrs of wildly variable results where bag seeds would go Hermie and screw every plant. Then next yr a few good ones or a heap males to waste time over. Never looked back once able to get stable seeds, wish I had them from start
