Thanks to the various guys on this thread for the inspiration and information. Decided to give it a crack. Got some B+ and golden teacher. Mix of broke Boi tek from hudos vid linked above, and uncle Ben tek. Golden teachers taking off a bit better at the moment. 5 days in. Goal is just at least 1 uncontaminated to spawn to bulk as my (un)sterile technique leaves lots to be desired lol.

You will.be surprised how many make it. I just done 20 jars in my shed where i spray tricoderma on my plants lol and only one got contaminated and when i looked at it the lid wasnt done up properly. I just spray the lid with iso and flame the needle until its red and any spores that land on the needle or try and fallow the needle in are killed. I imagine the first bit of liquid culture is killed on its way out to. The first thing i do when i get the syringes is make a jar of culture so i dont have to keep ordering and allows for experiments

its the same style jar with 1 teaspoon of light malt extract per 500ml water then pressure cook for 30 mins ( doesnt need aslong as the grain) let it cool and inject it

Got a couple inkbird mats with the probe stuck on the side of the centre jar about 20mm up on the bottom. A car sun shade on top and towel around edgers tjermostat set on 25. I done these last weekend it must be the perfect inviroment. Tjere is 15 jars and a 2kg grow bag full of popcorn

This is my other little experiment its going good to. Its just a tote with a 25w fish tank heater heating the water. The water has chlorine in it to kill shit its set at 27 degrees because its outsinde in rhe pool shed. There is 13 in there.the colinisation rate is good but not as good as the inkbird mat set up.the corn in those ones isnt popcorn just feed corn from the produce joint
