How old was it and what model is it ? They are supposed to have a 3 year warranty from memory. I have a couple of SF-4000s so you have got me worried now.

Can't afford to buy anything better.
Had mine for over 12 months, only the cheapo. Think it was the sf100. Thought they were ok at the time as they were a community supporter of TSE and this was the best forum and group of people I've come across. But, I guess anyone can be a community supporter.

Yep, i got one of their 1k lights (SE-1000w?). The driver operates way too hot anything above 65%. I'll salvage the lighting bars/strips and buy a couple quality drivers later on and utilise them in a veg/mother tent later.
I'll eventually get the Diablo X (720w?) for the flowering tent.

It seems the going rate is bugga all. But that's not a poor reflection on you whatsoever, mate. But moreso on bill, and how cheaply he can be brought/paid off.

Do you ever get worried when ya see stuff like the pic mate?
I've been looking at LEDs since about 2015 and have never seen anything like the meltdowns with any other LED company!
Seen heaps with HPS ballasts!!
