Yea mate, you can run side lighting if you have a real deep canopy and you wanna get serious, but if you stick to controllable canopy depths you should be fine with just top lightning.Dam that’s pretty good for the money, I’ll have a look, do people ever run lights down the sides or only above the plants? I’m new to all this.
I got a 40w light coming from AliExpress for my khat plant
Yeah definitely will, so do you think 2 plants like 10l each would be doable for my setup at the moment? And if so how much do you think my yield will be. Want at least 3 ozLooks good.. I'd definitely get one of those lights that Vin recommended for later on, the plants will really appreciate more light intensity when they are bigger
Yeah that sounds good, you should get at least 3 or 4 oz but I really don't know, hard to tell when its random seeds tbhYeah definitely will, so do you think 2 plants like 10l each would be doable for my setup at the moment? And if so how much do you think my yield will be. Want at least 3 oz
Yeah, the seeds I got are these from these guys https://www.mediseedman.com/granddaddy-purple-autoflower-seeds-australia/#Yeah that sounds good, you should get at least 3 or 4 oz but I really don't know, hard to tell when its random seeds tbh
Can this be used? I have some in my shed for ages back when I was growing chilli’s. Also I got an aquarium Ph kit with ph up and ph downYeah that sounds good, you should get at least 3 or 4 oz but I really don't know, hard to tell when its random seeds tbh
Will be fine. My go to is 2:1:3 as a base feed.
What do you mean? Is that a ratio or a name of one of the fertilisers lolWill be fine. My go to is 2:1:3 as a base feed.
Thats the NPK. I use canna terra flores if I'm not amending me medium. Usually ill get about 5-6 weeks out of a standard potting mix and then start to add the canna terra twice a week which has an NPK of 2:1:3. Very similar to what you posted above. What do you mean? Oh ahit sweet hehe okay least I have more of an idea what I’m doing now, before I had no clue if it was gonna run out of nutrients or not eventually. I’ll do what you mentionedThats the NPK. In the amended peat mediums I'll use fish hydrolysate (3-1-2) and worm castings.
It'll be all good once you get the plants in. It's always the before that gets stressful haha. Once it gets up and running, it's just another plant and a very easy one to grow in reality.Man marijuana is so confusing lol![]()
Okay ready to go now, just put fan in and running it even half power with the cupboard closed the entire thing is silent af. I did get large 6 inch accoustic ducting but I didn’t end up needing to use it… and I hate touching it because it puts stupid fiberglass everywhere, first time I touched it I didn’t realise what it was until 10 mins later my hands felt fuxkedMight be overkill for most but If I'm using a potting mix instead of a buffered/washed Coco/peat mix I'll do a quick slurry test of the medium in distilled water before potting to see if it's acidic or alkaline.
Sometimes they have too much or not enough mineral buffers and the same with the slow release fertilizers. Sometimes the Coco is full of salts if not washed and buffered, and the peat can be anywhere from pH 3.5-4.5.
I throw 1:2 ratio of soil mix/distilled water and wait for 20 mins to see if it tends acidic or alkaline before I set my heart on a pre defined pH. If it's noticeably acidic I'll be fine with neutral water and no pH adjustment. If it's alkaline I'll need to pH from the get go.
