Hello,
Just firing up my next grow. 2x4 tent. I’m sub floor (under the house) so I have amazing consistency 21c and 65% humidity on average. Imma going to need to bring that humidity down in a few weeks. Any simple suggestions for a small space? I’m running a 180w bar heater too.

Any suggestions would be appreciated where I don’t need to drop $300 on a unit.

3 x white widow auto. Will update accordingly.

This is a cheap option. If you are using a controller you will need to bypass the switch on the dehumidifier so it switches on from the wall.

Or forget about the controller and Kmart dehumidifier and go for https://ebay.io/m/gQihmz

Compressor Dehumidifiers are superior to the dessicant dehumidifiers

I’m only in a 60x120x150 tent. So not. A big room. It’s next the ducted gas heating unit so get residual heat. I have one of these. https://amzn.asia/d/02zEnKep Might try it first
Give it a go no harm in trying inside the tent. Those compressor dehumidifiers are the go but they are big and you'll probably need to run them outside of the tent.

That first Kmart dehumidifier I linked went pretty hard in my 5×5 tent, had it setup to the inkbird after pissing off the useless switch it came with and it was good for a few years. I had no ducting vents going outside so I was basically recycling stale air. When it pissed down rain the humidity in that room would skyrocket to 80-85% and that dehuey would keep me at 65% throughout the rain period, when the rains passed it would be able to go back down to 45% easily.

It shat itself just after the warranty expired 🤣, but that thing was constantly running and got me through to harvest quite a few times so I definitely got my moneys worth.

I reckon you would get the same kinda outcome from the cheaper ebay compressor dehumidifiers, if they last 2 years or a bit longer then that is fine - you get what you pay for 👍🏻
