I have this....
No doubt.
I mention the risks for other readers too. I've seen the results of 'a big bang' and the follow up implications from repair to eviction to court processes. It all got rather ugly. Admittedly, they were doing big batches in an enclosed space, a recipe for disaster, but the follow through was even more disastrous.

It's easier to ventilate from the start.

Is that the Rick simpson kind? That's ISO alcohol isn't it?
Yes. All of this has been run through ISO.

I used a brewing technique call "reiteration", where you re-use the extracted liquid to do it again & again with fresh material. ISO will hold a SHITLOAD of goodies over multiple reiterations.

That 5L jerry on top in the last photo is ABSLOUTE FUCKING EVIL. The stuff on the floor is considered "Second runnings". @Beil & @Tunkers will get it.

I "Sparged" the remaining plant material with fresh ISO to get the last out of it. The remaining plant material is going to be burned through the shed's woodheater incrementally.

Next step is to run everything through a 25 Micron bubble bag to remove the last of the physical material.

Then, I'll put a pot on top of the woodheater in the shed & slowly evaporate the ISO until I have something to work with.

Did your dogs come home?
Yes....and no.

After 3 weeks, I got a call from a neighbouring council telling me that our big fella had been shot & killed by a landowner. Apparently attacking livestock. The girl was still errant.

I went for a drive to the area & talked to a few people, who pointed me at a huge area of national park, since they'd spotted her disappearing in that direction.

I parked the car & walked up & over a ridge-line. About an hour. Calling & whistling for her the whole time. Nothing. Gave up & started walking back.

I came around a bend in the track I was following & suddenly, there she was, sitting & looking at me.

She was very hesitant at first & wouldn't come near me, but once I was able to actually touch her, she knew it was me & came straight in & schnuggled up to me. It was quite an emotional moment when I knew I hadn't lost her completely.

So...yes & no.
