Option 1. If you have private cover, oh yes we are your best friends we can fix anything in a week and even give you a glass of red wine with you prime steak for dinner "sir" in fact can we take you in right now "sir" 🆘

Option 2. No private cover, oh fuck it ain't that bad! You probably won't die soon but we will make you wait 6 months so it spreads. Also when you come for an appointment bring a packed lunch and beer and a joint! it maybe a while. See that board up there on the wall with the wait times? they can rub off 40 minutes wait and make it 2 hours and the push is out more. No worries your not going to fucking die, we just treat you like a second rate person. (y) 💩

Option 3. Drop Dead! ⚰️

SO FUCKING nice, THEM ASSholes! 😡
I hear ya mate, but 2 be honest, i've got no cover at all except the odd donation 2 kids with cancer
And gotta say no complaints whatsoever with my med team and especially the nurses who have 2 deal with all our whinging and the pain of the family going through this with u. All the while being underpaid and not much chance of advancement

They deal with the shit day after day and i'm amazed the rates of attrition are not through the roof
I know u may get a 130 kilo supa soldier of a nurse whose had just about enough of changing bed pans and on vomit patrol working night shift....[i know i have], and she might not have empathetic outlook wrapped up like a teddy bear in regards 2 your sore thumb, but they are few and far between. Better 2 lie ther in agony, be silent or she'll rip u a new arsehole

Overall i reckon their wonder women with hearts bigger than your bank account .......just dont mention that word......canula

I wasn't saying the nurses or doctors are bad they are all good people! :) without their help we would all be fucked! If you have coin you have better options for sure, example my missis had a stroke was stuck in a room with others, one nut screaming "Caca" :poop: the entire time.

It would be better in a private room I recon, do they do that for ya mate? I wanted to strangle that screaming bitch! sorry boy's 😡

Do private hospitals have emergency rooms? I reckon if they did I'd get healthcover or if our private hospital had some form of 24 hour services I'd sign up. Most people I know around here have health insurance either because they are rich or because the missus wants to give birth in luxury

I think with the one here they first have to go through the public hospital and from there transferred to private hospital.

Some specialists here will even do all their procedures through the private hospitals even when the patient is just covered by public health.

I reckon they'd boot you back to the public hospital for recovery though lol

I may just be unlucky, allow me to try explain why I feel the way I do  my Pop didn't even make it there, called the ambo's and all took to long to get here, my Nana woke up with breathing problems also dies there, my Mum had a bad cough they grafted skin in there, it fucked up! then choppered to Melbourne they fixed it and then didn't filter the blood so the had a stroke! and then I had to watch her die while they pumped her full of morphine, my neighbor has had a camera up his ass 16 times "ticked the trainee" box on the from, silly cunt!

Do ya want me to keep going? (y)

My Father in law had a heart attack and got picked up by the ambo's he said to them if your taking me to Shepparton hospital kick me out on the side of the road so I can die there!

They took him to Melbourne, he's still kicking! ;)

Fark me, no wonder u feel the way u do mate
In my case i might just be very lucky or all the karma gods were all feeling good
In truefullness the surgeons actually doing the ops were the hardest 2 deal with
As u say the nurses were the true heroes

Hospitals are the fucking worst. I was sent back two times by the one here because the staff were completely fucking useless and couldn't give a flying fuck.

Had pain in my calf, it kept getting worse and then one day it felt like someone was stabbing me in the chest. First time I went there I just had the calf pain and was concerned I had a blood clot, they sent me home with a sheet of neurofen and panadol.

2nd time I turned up and was given a lecture by some stupid cunt of a woman about how 'she had clots' and to trust her that "if I did have clots I wouldn't be walking"

I was sent home again, I had random green bruises just showing up all over my legs and arms every day I woke up, and it got to a point where I was so fucked I had to sit and sleep in the recliner as I had so much pain in my chest like a stabbing pain which was extreme.

I was convinced I was going to die at that point and just didn't move from that recliner until my local gp called up on the phone when I told him that I believed (from Googling) that i had deep vein thrombosis which had broken off and traveled to my lung and caused an embolism, and this fucking hospital had just sent me home twice in the fortnight leading upto that point..

Doc was like "mate get the fuck back down to that hospital right now" he called them up and must have gone psycho because when I got there I was instantly placed in a wheelchair and pushed me up to get an ultrasound.

The person doing the ultrasound couldn't believe the size of this clot in my leg. They raced me to get an xray after that and surely enough there was the embolism in my lung, part of the clot broke off and traveled up and got lodged in there.

Finally they gave me the treatment I should have gotten the first time I presented there the previous weeks prior.

Later I found out through an occult blood test that I had a blood mutation which makes me more susceptible to blood clots.

GOOGLE gave me my diagnosis before the useless cunts at that hospital. After that experience ive become very cautious of hospitals. At the end of the day we know our bodies more despite what other idiots might have to say. Never ignore the signs and if in that same situation always stand your ground and ask for a different doctor who actually gives a fuck about treating their patients.

Without trying 2 demean what u went through G.G, i think we all knows what happens if u consult with Dr. Google 2 often

Once in a while they can jag your diagnosis, but on the whole it;s a case of sending u 2 nearest emergency 4 a brain anurysum when u have a headache or a rare form of eboli when u got a skin rash

I agree u know your own body better than anyone and if u feel no one is taking u seriously, then hop on that bike and go elsewhere

I'll remember that one, I have ambulance cover so an 6 or 7 hour trip to Melbourne in an ambulance dosed on that midazolam wouldn't be so bad and all for the fee of annual ambulance cover :ROFLMAO:

Nah that being said pretty much all serious patients and anything to do with heart or brain/lung clots that they can't dissolve with drugs, even then mostly just stabilise and fly to Melbourne. I reckon the ambulance plane comes 3 or 4 times every night and on a permanent roster. Only 45-1.15 depending on what the go is with the patients. Have heard of 30 minute flights
