The way the world is heading. We need to build our kids to be resilient for the hard times that many will endure. Not wrap them in cotton wool in an attempt protect them from the challenges in life. So many aren't going to cope with what they'll face and in turn have meltdowns and fail dramatically.

As a whole, we're not completely helping our kids grow and prosper. We're setting them up for failure in many ways in regards to the challenges they will eventually have to deal with..

Don't worry, Ukraine's youth, along with kids in other war torn regions are building resilience as they grow up because they have no choice. It's there in front of them. Our kids (thanks to their parents), being raised in the Western World have no idea. If a major catastrophic event takes place, our kids are going to be like rabbits staring into the headlights, so to speak.
