Whats the story behind todays outage?

As title says, is there something serious behind today outage? I've also been noticing mini outages for an hour or so every now and then as well. Hope all is well

TSE server couldn't handle the return of the Deez mate.

On a more serious note I noticed around 4pm and just checked up again. Hope all is well.

The first outage I think we’ve ever had was on Feb 1. Was due to the server requiring updates.

I did notice about an hour ago site seemed to be down, I must have caught the end of it. I’ll follow up with Mod. … possibly the same issue.

I agree website is much faster, is the server closer to aus?

P.S, I appreciated the update yesterday, both the "database issues" and the "check back at 10pm est, we are moving servers" it really helped my withdrawals

Appreciate everyones patience.

What I thought was an easy fix turned out not to be so. The Server was not scaleable.

After it crashed yesterday I had a chat with Mod and he was on to it.

We are now on a new sever and capacity can be increased as required.

Site feels a heap faster which is also good.
