What PH pen is everyone using? Is it an EC pen as well?
I'm having trouble with my PH pens. Just recalibrated them last night and going to try them out today but been eyeing off one of these devices from temu since I've been having so much trouble.

I use the good old kegland ph pen atm but had an aqua master until I lost it.

No matter what I do, with any brand, even in a "sealed" bag, in a "sealed" case, in a "sealed" cap, the storage solution in the cap for the spare electrodes just disappears and turns into salt every time I check it. If I use my meter, put the cap back on with a bit of sponge and storage solution, within a week it's dried out somehow and I just couldn't be fucked anymore.

So now I just use the bunnos/manutec indicator drops. As long as I'm below neutral and above 5.5 I'm happy tbh but I'm In potting mix so it's not as pertinent..I just swing the pH a bit here and there.

EC meter is one of those wands with the flashing lights. It's always been fine. Never have issues with TDS metres.

I found the pens to be a pain, in summer the storage solution would dry out and it was just a big fuckaround,

Drops don’t need solution or batteries,
And once you get used to your nutrients you know at what strength to add up or down,
No brainer for me.

Yeah my pen needs a battery change and calibration. I have been using drops this grow cause im lazy. Drops are fine and alot cheaper than a $150 pen. Hydroland have a good ph pen i have one but my brother is using it and trying to get anything back from him is like getting blood from a stone.

I think what I read as around 6.5 read about 5.8 on the Meter and that was about good enough for me. What I read as neutral will test between 6.3-6.6 on my meter so I just roll with it haha.

I mainly just use em for a rough estimate to make sure my plain water is around neutral tending to acidic instead of fucking 8.5 so it's not too bad if I'm a few pints below here and there.
