I think it's just tolerance we've developed since the good old days. After a break from a particular strain for a few days, it somehow seems more potent ( to me), compared to the effects of continuously smoking that same strain for a few consecutive days. Kind of like a *strain tolerance break*. Conversely if I smoke the same strain for 3 days straight, it doesn't seem as potent on day 3, as it was on day 1.

Some truth in this, no doubt. But on rare occasions I had stuff that absolutely floored me. There was serious shit around back in the day I reckon.
