Yeah I've been to China I know what there like I just though outside of China when they have warehouses full outside of China they would get seized but in saying that I bought a 30 buck pair of Ray band sunnies at the market last week cause I left mine at home

Did a little research (and I do mean a little!) Appears spider farmer swapped out the mean well for their own branded driver ( obviously cheaper)

The driver on my Mars Sp3000 was advertised as meanwell but instead was an exact replica, Mars branded. At least I got the Samsung and Osram diodes.

“Samsung and osram” diodes. They lied about the driver why not the diodes which are much easier to swap out for far inferior components.

The Mars Sp light has completely different specs from the first ones released. You gotta get in early. Lights get good reviews then overtime bits and pieces get swapped out.

I've got a Mars SP250 which is the older version of the current SP3000

It has a genuine Meanwell ELG-240w-48a driver

Now the Sp has a mars driver and epistar diodes. Good reviews then downgrade the specs. When I bought my light it was advertised as a meanwell driver,but I didn’t check until all the spider farmer stuff.
