Just watched episode 4, been dull but they are 30 minutes episodes. After episode 2 I was wondering why it ended so quickly then realised. Oh they are 30 minutes long lol

Lord of the Flies, one of the first serious movies I loved as a kid. Read the book as a kid, watched both movies, thanks for the heads up I will watch this tomorrow. If you didn't like this version maybe go and watch the Lords of the Flies from 1990, that ones a movie. Fantastic movie.

So far Lord of the Flies, the TV show I mean, is very faithful to the novel, I am loving it as a big fan of the book. I can see why it may not be every bodies cup of tea, its not fast paced and its set around kids, its more a work of visual literature than a binge action high production epic so I can see why somebody might not like it.

Yeah that sums it up quite well. I'm gonna give it a few more episodes to see if it picks up the pace a bit.

I won't lie, 5 minutes in when the cgi pig came out running around I was very close to closing the tab lol. Probably some of the worst graphics I've seen in the past 15 years but I'll give it a chance

Oh, the CGI is horrendous but its a short TV show so I can overlook a bad budget as long as they don't fuck up the story. Its a pretty hard core story and its hard to get right, especially the more vicious parts of the story. It will be interesting to see HOW faithful they stay, I am almost at the end of episode 1 now.

Nothing will ever come close to being worse than the Apple TV show I watched a few months back called Invasion.
No words can describe how terrible it is, it could actually be effectively used as a punishment in prisons.. I believe it would bore any person to death

Well this wont be that, it will mostly be a character driven drama, focused AROUND that drama, which is set in an alien invasion.

What a useless dogshit show. Its like somebody had 2 scripts, a bad alien script and a REALLY bad soap opera scrip, and somebody high up said "wait a minute......... can we, like........ just MASH these together?".
