Two Four 'n' Twenty pies fresh from the freezer. Mirowaved to perfection & lovingly glazed with a proprietary melange of Coles home-brand tomato sauce & home-made chilli sauce.

An evening repast fit for Royalty (or perhaps Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.....??).
Coles brand sauce is decent. Their american mustard tastes better than the more expensive brands too.

Got some pretty decent chicken in me guts.

Made a bit of a marinade/rub with the mortar and pestle.

2 garlic cloves, 1 tiny onion, 1 lime squeezed in, good teaspoon of sweet paprika, cumin and coriander seed powder, chilli flakes and cayenne pepper with a bit of sugar to balance the zestiness of the lime. Sprinkled over a Tid bit garlic and onion powder and black pepper powder.

Winged it, flavour was off the charts.

What exactly is a Turkish-inspired "Slop-Chop"??
Haha that's just what I call it.

The real recipe they say to use Aleppo Peppers, I substituted with half sweet and half smoked paprika, not that you could call it a substitute but it works to an extent.

Pureed tomato, again not even close with my tomato paste but it is okay.
Beef stock..
2 tsp cumin powder, 2tsp coriander seed powder.

3 garlic cloves minced,
2 large onions finely diced

I kind of steered from there and added garam masala and tiniest touch of curry powder just for some aroma.

Like I said "Turkish inspired" but they might string me up for butchering their stew lol

It's already very Indian-inspired, rather than Turkish. You do you, sir & damn the horses!!

I'm having leftover beef vindaloo with leftover gravy added from doing a Malaysian beef curry this arvo.

I'm NOT doing pic's!!!
