Tipping Clones

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about tipping clones. Information varies from 'it's fine' to 'it's not a good idea'. Cheers.

Nothing bad about topping a clone ,just As long as you give it time to get strong new branches ,,same as any plant you top.

Personally I prefer low stress training as you get to keep the tip you would otherwise lose by simply cutting it away but if you're short on space or whatever cutting doesn't really harm them at all.

Yeah I've never had a problem with tipping clones.

If i need to tip to keep the height down. i'll usually tip them around the 8-12th node. That way it usually gives me 10+ good branches to work with as the plant matures.
