It’s a bit small for the amount of medium it is in ,so no I wouldn’t be aiming for runoff at this stage, otherwise it’ll take too long to dry out,
Ok cool..yeah fair enough. Pot probably too big then. Some stuff you read say put it in the forever pot from the get go..some tell you the opposite..??

yeah you can start them in a big pot no worries but a small plant won’t be taking up much of the feed so gonna take forever to dry out enough to allow oxygen down to the roots.

A day old only needs a teaspoon of water, so gradually build up the feed to suit the size of the plant. (It’s root system really) In a widening band away from the stem ,,the tap root will follow the draining water and the horizontal roots will follow that band of feed ,,so it’s like letting the roots chase the water to grow faster.

Guess work is involved but if you aim at that approach you cant go wrong,,

without an EC meter ,about 75% of what the bottle says for the age of the plant should be ok ,,give it a week and if the plant looks healthy then you can increase the strength ,,if any burn’t or
dry leaf tips appear then back off with the strength.
