Referring to previous post about fuel. We get screwed either way, it's the way the Government works. We produced 96% of our own fuel here. That's when we were smart (y) no matter what side you pick you will get screwed either way :ROFLMAO: if a war breaks out we are screwed now!

All they have to say is fuck you no juice! 😲

wait 40 days then BOOM! ☮️

If a war breaks out we are definitely screwed, because everything is built in china, no matter how much military contractors try not to rely on china there's always something that relies on the manufacturing power of china

What a fucking day took the ranger axle in town to get the bearing changed and they pushed it on to far so now the axle is 4mm to long and won't bolt up properly what a bastard! yes the axle splines are in, but they are hitting the center pin, because bearing on to far. The castle nut is to many threads down, like 5 it was 2 :(

Tip for them, mark it up before swapping!

I had a read around and there are 2 different bearing for these depending on the model, one is fatter than the other, I'm thinking now that the face of the bearing and spacer were hitting the face of the diff housing stopping it  or it's not pressed in all the way.

How old were they? Problem is now days if the computer cant tell them which part to swap they are screwed. And job like that i'd make sure they were over 40. Ive got an Amorok and i usually service etc myself as my first trade was a mechanic but im allergig to grease and oil so cant do it full time, i had a wheel sensor prob fucking with the ABS so i took it in and there was a young bloke there , i said will you be right with this he said yeah man. Also had an issue with the air con i hadn't had time to look at. Anyway came back and was told its all good but i need a new regulator and air con motor to fix aircon at 1300 bucks, i was like yeah that aint hapening. Then i asked what wheel sensor was playing up he said passenger front was showing a fault code so i cleared it and now its good. I said why didnt you change the sensor he said the computer said it was sweet. So jumped in hit the key bam abs light comes on so back in i go and was told i need to book it in for another diagnostic i was like fuck you and your wet back mechanics im not comming here again( capalaba VW) so went to repco got a 80 buck sensor put that in fixed that prob pulled the aircon out pulled the 2 peices of bark stuck in it and installed my 18 buck regulator from ebay and its been sweet for almost 12 months now. Repco quoted me 750 for the reg and VW parts 400 so i got 2 chinese versions off ebay so i had one as a spare in case the china one failed and when i pulled the old VW one it had the exact part number and brand name as the fucking chinese one the rorting cunts getting them from china at 5 bucks a peice and onselling them at a 100 times the price FFS

My brother has 4 different scan tools for for diagnosing errors, you need one these days, I has to do the rear brake pads on the Quashqi and you need a scan tool to tell it to open the back calipers or you can't get the pads in auto hand brake!. It has the clutch adjustment done on the bloody scan tool. Some scan tools give generic errors some go right down the the fucked bit. That is a big fuck up with the A/C and the sensor.

I have paid a mechanic 2 times in my life 1 time for struts fitted, the car never drove right again and the fucking axle. So bloody frustrating, I cold have done it myself if my press was high enough for the axle

There's different handheld scan tools for each make and model i think so a typical generic scan tool could do more harm than good. "apparently"
