Man I’ve held a few pythons and stuff when I lived in Coomera on the Goldi but I would not be messing with her not for quids he just goes oooohhh when it nearly strikes his leg bloody beautiful though I do love snakes but have a very healthy respect for em but King Cobra nahhh

I've known a few people who kept reptiles.
There's most definitely invasive reptiles in Oz.
Few too many corn snakes,boas, chameleons and god knows what else?

Back in the 70's when we were kids I was at a mates place, and we spotted this huge eastern brown in the front yard. Anyway, we tell his Oldman and he come out 'n grabbed it by the tail, swung it around above his head a couple of times and cracked it like a whip. No shit, it nearly took the snakes head clean off, it was barely attached by a bit of skin. This bloke's effort is a bit average, but done the job nonetheless..

Found this land mullet down the back yard a while ago, normally they are quite elusive but this fella just stayed there sunbaking while I took his photo. He was a fairly large one, slightly bigger than your average bluey.
