Interested in seeing what others use regarding power supply, light timing and general power controls in or outside of their grow room/tent, I want to make my tent a bit more streamline, the overhead section is a jungle, so next grow I want to have the bare minimum in the tent, so light, oscillating fans and plant pretty much, I just want a tidy grow space, so appreciate any ideas or examples of how you've made growing easier

No unusual power supply, just regular power.

I have used a few timers, but Coles ones are fine and have no drift, I check every Monday for lights on and off, so far Coles timers have done me right.

I have 2 boards in my tent, 1 strapped to my gear board and 1 strapped to the pole. I have 2 extension cables coming out of my tent for my 2 lights, those run to a power board on its own outlet, so only my lights run on that 1 wall socket, old habits but safe habits. I just secure the board to something in the tent, secure the cable as well, then make sure whatever goes into that board also gets secured too so nothing is dangling. Take it 1 object at a time and all of a sudden your whole tent is orderly. Whatever you put into your tent make sure it is secured and nothing will be messy.

Sometimes you might need to buy a short extension cable to keep things neat 🤣 .

10amp outlet im pretty sure, might be 15 because its in a shed

Just 1 powerboard with a power meter and a double adapter on the powerboard for the low current appliances. The higher the current draw of the appliance, like the light the closer to the cord I plug it in. Bit of a mess on the ground with water splashing on it sometimes. Has earthed out on the foil of the bottom of the tent before when it got a drop of water. Now it lives outside on the cement.
I want to mount it up properly on a bit of plywood where I can also mount other automation options

Edit: There 20amp because they have the bigger earth pin, but I never pull more than 2-3 amps
Edit2: Its a 20amp circuit but only has 1 outlet, where as in a house you could have a 20amp (or more) circuit then a heap of 10 amp outlets

Yep pretty simple, use a. Few cable ties to secure a powerboard to the top bars of your tent and that's as streamlined you get with me 🤣
