I started looking at that LAB stuff not too many months ago as I wanted something to prep part of the kitchen waste that wasnt yet suitable directly for my worms(for a more varied input). I was happy to find out that its simple to make , is a versatile product , and for me I was already rinsing my rice so it made another use of that by product(just now, I vaguely remember someone using that rice water starch for another gardening purpose too, might have been help germinating store bought rice, it's been a while, will have to look up again cause I can't remember well enough and I could be way off, but if that was the case, maybe that a possible 'at home' sugar to help old seeds out, hmmm I will have to relook into that)

yep lots of fun making LAB this was the first time i made it i think , i pretty much just buy EM-1 these days , which is a little lazy but you do get 15 beneficial organisms
