I don't see a thread dedicated to nutrients brand reviews and/or homemade nutes sharing. I guess they could probably be secrets. But for those who like to share their little homemade brew secrets or their favourite brands, feel free to share here I guess.
Me personally, when I first joined the forum about 3 years back someone told me to just use canna terra pro as medium and use their canna Vega and Flores since I had no clue at all. And found great success with those and have been using them ever since. (forgot who it was, cheers ya legend). But because of winning the product comp last year, I been using the professor's organic products this grow. They are kinda nasty but I think I like them more. Maybe it's just placebo effect, but I think my plants look better than before.
Anyone with similar experience?

I recall using green planet 2 part a and b with the massive bloom flower and it turned out okay for small scale grows.

When you go bigger than a 2×4 bottle nutes end up sucking your wallet dry. I've heard that most of the nutrient lines are just copies of Advanced Nutrients recipe anyway. Heard at one point there was a few companies that paid $10,000+ for a chemical analysis from advanced nute bottles, which they copied and then end up slapping their own stickers on and selling it as some "state of the art" product with additives claiming to 'boost yields by 30%' and what not. As the saying goes, "there's nothing new under the sun" which is pretty evident with all these nute companies.

Read their manuals and they always recommend buying 6-9 bottles of other shit to use throughout the grow, some even encourage the use of toxic pgrs like paclobutrazol and chlormequat which is pretty gross too.

Bottles can be convenient for small grows or for lousy growers, some might call me stingy but I don't see the point of buying watered down salts in bottles. I've saved a shit load by just using salts and a few additives on the side to achieve the best results possible given the environmental factors I deal with which is far from perfect.

I've been using Brix Fix by an Aussie company called nutritech, which I think is excellent for the price which is a good substitute for Green Planet 'Massive Bloom', packed with natural plant growth hormones, fulvic acid and triacontanol which is beneficial throughout the grow. Super concentrated product which will last a very long time too 👍🏼

General Hydroponics Maxi Grow and Maxi Bloom. They are dry salts and in he 2010's I'd mix up a 200l drum of the stuff, didnt last as long as you'd think but pulled off some grand grows. Switched to Green Planet Dual Fuel and it goes alright, starting to think the Maxi Bloom was better

Green planet has one of the best prices out there among local brands. Neat!

Is this a replacement for Ozi Tonic also? I was using that because it had some of the same components, but still has NPK. Was a bit unsue as they also have another similar product which is said to be more a total fertiliser. It would be good to have an additive which means I can keep using the base A&B. In late flower I had to cut that back just to accommodate the Ozi Tonic EC.

I am also using Green Planet Duel Fuel. Saw a shop in Melbourne has their own additive product called Jacked. But haven't seen much info on it. So many different snake oils it gets confusing. Ezi Oil... this that. See that the Americans favour an all in one powder called Jacks I think. Seems cheap and good.

When I looked at the labels, most seem to be about the same ratio. I kind of what to switch to the cheap bottles I seen at hydro shops with the pictures of buds on them in the clear bottles. Forget the names, but they are some local brand. However, I've only used half a bottle on the last run, so still got a while before I need to buy again.

It would probably replace Monsta Bud. There's definitely triacontanol in Monsta Bud, I recall their sticker having bees / beehives which is where the natural triacontanol comes from but I'm sure you know that already.

Brix Fix has a tiny amount of potassium probably from kelp/seaweed but nothing else nutrient wise..
Definitely has triacontanol in it though.

Natural acids, phenolic compounds, amino acids, 74 ocean derived trace minerals, cytokinins, gibberellins, auxins, betaines and mannitol.

Just looked up ozi tonic and it's similar too. Brix Fix is definitely a cheaper and probably better alternative to both.

Can use it throughout the entire grow too.

The aloe concentrate is good too, not as cheap and doesn't go as far as Brix Fix, but still a great root tonic and have noticed more explosive rapid root growth when using it.

Thank you for doing the comparison. Excellent, I will get a bottle and try it out. I used about half a bottle of the Ozi Tonic, which isn't too bad. But my scale is tiny. Shame I can't get the Brix Fix in a smaller bottle. But if I can use it through the grow then maybe its worth it. Not too expensive at least and not giving it to some biker store

I have been using it with a dosage of around 1.6mL to 10 litres of water
