I think I only vegged mine out for 2 weeks before flipping. It's a reproduction of Yantras. I only had mine in 3.5L pots, kept them tame by supercropping but had a male plant grow taller than the height of the 140cm tent it was in.

That was the keeper I found, around 12 weeks but I think some could go 14+.
Interesting plants, I've heard it's a hybrid of different Mullumbimby crosses, but I'm not 100% sure if that's true or not.

Grown under a weak $39 Chinese light that I use for seedlings and clones.

Terrible pic, but also had a few purple phenos. 1756782957736.jpeg

The male which had to be supercropped, All plants were in 3.5l pots grown half assedly in Coco .. hope that helps 🤣1756783198834.jpeg

2 weeks +up to 14 week is a bit long but ok. Looks so much like the sattys we grew as kids in the 80s.Older brothers used to do a seed run to nimbin every year then go off grid for a while😂. Used to finish up late April early may. no mention of Mullum but old mother was thrown about. Huge plants.

Did you ever try 'nimbin purple'?
I heard old mother sativa and Nimbin purple could be the same thing? But the line went to shit with hermie issues?
It's hard to validate the authenticity of strains as it is, but I was pretty happy with the outcome. Very interesting smells from peppery, lemon gas, to gassy vomit smells too, 50/50 from what I found

Never tried purple. The plants we grew def had hermie traits. We didn’t know much, but our brothers knew a little bit. We would plant 30 hoping for two sinsemellia as it was known. Smoke for a year, and a bit for sale.

Heres my Mullumbimby Madness took 14 weeks. This was from yantra too. Had the peppery and vomit kinda smell. Wasn't overly strong but didn't get the cure it deserved. Apparently you have to give them atleast a 2month cure to get the best out of them. I got a Mullumbimby Madness x with a supa fly which is a freakshow hybrid from yantra too but got three males.20250611_165947.jpg

Had a friend who lived in rosebank a lovely area not that far away from mullem.
First went up there when I was 15 yrs . I'm 62 now Caught the train from wollongong.trained it back home again after a fortnight with half an elbow! Silly move really.
The smoke was very powerful sativa that would last all day.
The surrounding neighbours were all hippy's ,all with great smoko.
More than half a life time ago. Be nice to have some seeds now for comparison.
