one of the local hydro shops here in nnsw has the little purple machine (gas chromatograph) which tells you how much thc and cbd is in the flower...they tested over 100 products in the area from all diffrent "dispenseries" and not one had the advertised thc nor cbd content...more then 80% where less then half strength as advertised....that says something about the quality....homegrown always best....

Mate exactly the reason you won't ever see me paying for medi weed. I'll go dry for 6 months before I buy into the scam of medi weed. As it is, all the whole scheme has done is bankrupt all my friends and family, have them smoking more weed than they ever have before.

Just seems completely unsustainable the way it is. Way too easy to just ring up and get whatever strains are "30%" and some extract.

Know a ton of people that were completely functional before hopping on medical weed despite smoking for 20 years, now the can't leave the house without it and their tolerance has gone through the roof, unlike their bank account lol. Now they are buying medical, smoking thrice what they used to and still topping up off the black market.

Creates this "it's legal now, I can smoke whenever I want" mentality. Well piss is legal too, but I don't wanna be walking around shops at 9am with someone who's drunk as fuck all the time. Same goes with smoking everywhere.

I'm one of those weirdos that likes to experience certain things sober. If I'm stoned all the time there's no point in being stoned. It's just the status quo. You need to be sober in order to get stoned in my opinion haha.

Like if you never experience hardship you don't really appreciate the good times. Like everything life is about balance and I'm seeing a lot of people losing that balance.

Not much. Probably like $60 or less a run for electricity, I feed tap water and then you add the cost of a $15 bag of potting mix. Free seeds due to this joint. Setups paid themselves off a few times over on the first run luckily. Once you factor in selling a few zips for $200 I'm up not down over the long run.

Haha yes not as much as buying medical, but there is still cost. If you were using nutrients or running chillers etc price goes up. Add the effort and time for the process involved as well.

Horses for courses is the point I was making. Legal route can be more suitable for others without it being a "problem"

Time is money ain't it at the end of the day. Most of the medi shit me mates and family are on in around $100-130 for 10g for some reason. Seemed way to expensive and unsustainable when your spending more a week on weed than food in my eyes. Especially when most of them are unemployed and constantly borrowing money to put fuel in their car lol.

I made sure I researched cheapest available options. If I wanted to be a real dick I could sell 15gm as sticks and make money doing absolutely nothing at all lol

I got a mate who turned down 2 zips (for free) because it wasn't 'Topaz 25'. Reckons nothing will ever come close to these awesome medical tubs, so he doesn't bother trying anything else lol.
