Oh thats cool. I'm relying on moisture probes and pumps. Something like a shurflo pump and a pressure accumulator would work well - pump only goes on when the pressure drops.

Actually - looking at their documentation, they can be gravity fed. Neat!

Thread necro - but some interesting information on how to configure these for best performance - A moisture meter (proper hydro-static pressure) is needed.


You can run nutrients, but 25-50% lower concentration is recommended, chemical nutes only (not organic) and either run a filter (its 8mm line so something as pedestrian as a carby fuel filter would work) or keep the solution moving with high turnover or aeration - I find the only stuff that doesn't seem to dissolve well is the PK supplement.
