Light requirements during seedling

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I did a grow and just wondering what the light requirements are for the first week or so after the plant has just barely popped up? Having guests staying so I can't really have the tent set up, but really wanting to germinate and get started, reckon they'll be fine on the windowsill? Will set up then tent by week 2 at the latest.

They should do fine if it gets adequate light (some direct sun on the sill). They'll just have a more internode spacing and will develop lateral growth at a slower rate if they spend a while on the windowsill but will fill out when thrown under substantial lighting.

Not much light is needed for the first few weeks, I often run multiple seedlings under my T5 light of about 40-60watts

small light in a cupboard would give them a better start than a window sill.
