Has anyone on here ever experimented with light recipes?
I’m planning on giving it a try in a side by side to see if there is a noticeable difference.
I have 3 channel spectrum adjustable lights which consist of a veg channel(cool white at about 5000k), a bloom channel(warm white, red and far red around 3000k) and a UV channel. I have adapted a light recipe from Grand Master LED to suit. The programme is as follows-
Veg stage- veg channel only at required power
First 3 weeks flower- veg channel and bloom channel at 100%
Week 4 and 5 of flower- bloom and uv channels at 100%, veg channel off.
Week 6 of flower- all 3 channels at 100%
Week 7 of flower- veg and uv channels at 100%, bloom channel at 50%
Week 8 of flower- veg and uv channels at 100% with bloom channel switched off.
Normally I run these lights with just the veg channel for veg stage and then everything flat dial for flower.
I’m going to run one as per usual and one with the light recipe and see how they compare.
Should be an interesting experiment.
