Hi all new here found this forum out of others for a good Aussie forum.

TLDR: just skip if you don’t want to read. See pics and skim read if you like. Hope it’s not too long for a newbie post.

And yes first time grow so I cant wait to share with and learn from others! Here is my happy new female. Starting to flower. Had 3 lost 1 went male 2 are female. This is the further into flower plant than the other is like 2 days behind. I believe from time or start and or also stress as I pulled off and cut off leaves to often like one or two or 5 then again in a week so it had more stress from defoliating.

Only used Seasol Powerfeed and had been good. The soil has NPK but it was second hand soil not old but old enuf to have most the balls broken but HALF of them are still holding nutes and delivering on slow release when they get water or however they work. The yellow and white balls look like honey Combe inside and have Wet white paste inside if you crush them.

Power feed every 1-2 weeks and took it very EASY starting with 1/3 dose then 2/3 next time then 1:1 or normal ratio of 30ml/9lt but gave as 3ml in 900ml water. Simple. Fed 5 times in veg.

They are outdoors. They are topped low. For Neigbours and also movement capability and ease even when it’s in full flower and super hot and sunny I will Still be able to move into the shade. I do live in Canberra where it’s legal to grow one or two plants per person in the house up to 4 plants max. So it’s fine but it’s still not the best thing to have neighbours see.. sometimes if they don’t like it or whatever.

Here is a fresh photos of flower starting and for my avatar 😸 and here are my plants.

FYI first time grow. Started ONE. Then did 2 more sprouts (IF I DIDNT) the first one was the MALE… I would have got nothing.. so I’m glad I picked also from a different seed bag/stash bag/strain. They both came female. Be luck or that it was already feminised. Anyway. Always do 2 not 1 Atleast that’s my experience as a first timer. As I said if I didn’t do 2 more 3 days or 7 days later I’d have had ONE MALE.. but I went for 3 and have 2 females.

Welcome to tse. Oh how I'd kill for an outdoor patch. I'm 1-4 with regs so far so I've learned to pop a few extras just in case.

Good bunch here and a nice wealth of knowledge.

Thank you and what do you mean pop a few extras? Sorry I know I asked a few questions and said a lot.
Great stuff, welcome mate (y)

(As in being allowed to grow legally 😁)
I know I am. But I know Soon another state/s will have the exact same or BETTER legislation.

anyone know what is a good flowering stage product I can get from Bunnings or mitre10 or a hydro shop?

I figured POTASH PLUS PHOSPHORUS WOULD BE GREAT ??..?

Manutek liquid potash booster, if that's what u looking 4
From Bunnings
That’s what I was looking at does that one have ok K ratio to P? Is it 20% Potassium and 4% phosphorus ? Is that it? I think that’s what I’ll get.

I got TIES today a roll of them green plastic metal for tying plants but I used to use or HAVE been using small tree branches that I break into said lengths long or short and they have a branch I break making for a ?or a peg shape the photos show them. A

They are like a J but upside down. So should I have the Branches or eg bamboo sticking up NOT holding branches Down and to the side creating the S shape or circle of life (attempt) but I started wrong and after topping so I didn’t twist the actual main stem only the branches I was holding down to the SIDES but the pegs wouldn’t hold them as it was to much of an angle so I started to Twist the branches still growing in veg to grow bending all the the right so each branch grows now sideways (but up) at the part past the peg always bends up for sun. And I never put it to close to the end of the branch anymore as it’s to sting and will rip the end off in wind or if it’s held down to much. That’s why I got these ties.

But how do I tie do I use steaks in the pot and tie to them? As I don’t have pot holes on the pot (I could make them?) if need and tie to the holes. But that uses a lot of the tie length. It’s ok it is cheap. or I use twine I have at home for connecting to the pot then use shorter lengths of the ties to tie off to the twine/thick string?

As I do want to continue to grow the plant and bend the branches in a turning (circle of life) kind of manner. As this changes where light gets in and how it opens up the plant more. I would have defoliated MORE like all leaves down the lowest part of plant but I left them as I’m new and they are needed for photosynthesis and as outdoors I want to make sure it goes ok. I don’t mind sugar leaf or bud leaf. But anything not with trichs will be put into a bag and strained with BHO or turned into Canna-butter

But main goal is keeping my females happy and I need more Phosphorus and potassium unless the Powerfeed can be used All through Flower WITH Like Potash Plus? Or drop the Powerfeed and use Potash Plus only to remove the Nitrogen? As I don’t want to screw up flowering using or having to much Nitrogen. Like what happens if you use Nitrogen at say the same levels as P/K like 5-5-5?? Compared to a 0-5-5 or 1-5-5?? Will they just grow bigger? Or more leaves and not focus as much as they should on the flowers? Thanks any help is very appreciated I’ll do a google search but I like to ask from personal experience and opinions not just a google search.

I reckon those plants would enjoy much bigger pots than what you’ve got them in.
bigger yield too.
Yes I agree but should I TP now ? During start of flower?

Also I sent looking for a HUGE YIELD I am doing them to be SMALL for neighbours and for me to manage if I have to move them still. I have two larger pots like double the size I was going to TP the other day at least one of them. But I thought if it’s flowering or START of flowering I should leave them?

Also when TP to bigger pot for u to soil/potting mix that has bark in it and whatever should I make sure the bottom of the New POT has plenty of airation in the soil like more bark that’s on the tops of my normal plants pots? So that the pot and plant don’t get like water logged? As I moved the MALE I had into the larger pot and the bottom of the dirt after removing was quite damp and had been drying for like 3 days. I just don’t want to cause the plants any stress if they will be flowers read for harvest in 6-8 weeks or whatever time frame. I just don’t want massive plants. I need to be able to move them out of the sun. So as they are now they are perfect I can manage moving and when budding I could still manage moving by hand but if next size up might grow to 4-5ft even as a topped plant? Or can it only stretch so far being it’s a topped plant with multiple colas? And I shouldn’t worry about how big they get they won’t get to big will they??

I am new learning things every day I read up on MJ lol and growing. Anyway peace and thanks for the help everyone so far I’ll start a JOURNAL THAT I WILL do on Word and so I can update there and update to all the forums I use lol as I have a few forum accounts now this one for More Aussie and the others are more global.

I’ll try TP v soon. Does it matter if plants are wet I watered last night and we just had rain for about 2 hours and 4 hours over night. I read if they are decent size TP to make sure the soil is Somewhat wet? To hold structure of the roots or is it better being mostly dry? I would TP if no guidelines when it’s like drying out and had no water for 2-4 days or maybe a tiny 100-200ml drink maybe 1 hour or right before I TP? Does that seem right or just do it say in 2 days if we don’t have any more rain? ??

Also I have to Drill holes or CUT them in one of the pots. It has no holes at bottom only one on the side… so for thirsty plants. Succulents etc I’ll upload a picture and tel me if the SIDE hole MATTERS if I put in 6-7 decent holes for drainage at the pots lowest points? Thanks again

Can’t find pics must have deleted them. It’s a larger pot double the size of these ones and just has a Square hole on the side which ISNT sufficient for my plant. So I must drill or cut holes. then I’ll Get ready for the TP as long as it’s not to late as it’s early flower.

I've Transplanted after stretch was finished,,
.it won’t get much taller but the added room for roots to grow should mean bigger buds,,
Just be gentle with them.

I found transplanting wet medium is heavy and can cause some of it to fall away ,taking roots with it ,
Unless it’s already getting rootbound,,which will hold it all together.

I only transplant with a dryish medium ,then water after it’s done.

Putting a heap of holes in the top of the pots for tie wire makes training pretty easy,

Thank you that helps. I’ll get it TP tomorrow I hope. And put holes in and start training that way not twisting. I might keep twisting the plant the Growth Shoots coming off it all laterally is pretty insane. In only like 5 days it’s really stretched and I understand the term now. They have grown a lot but I’ll get them moved. Ty

it was the only one I could find that was a Potash other than soil or powder fert. Did have a good look nearly got GoGo juice? I heard that name a few times? It seems like it would be good all stages but I’m still new maybe only veg or maybe flower idk.

I’m here to learn.

Can you TELL ME I HAVE USED POWERFEED natural or the green one by Seasol since vegetive up till a week ago I gave them both a feed of 3ml in 1lt.

Now I have POTASH PLUS. Should I remove the PowerFeed ? And use only PotashPlus? Or mix them both? As the PowerFeed has 1.7% phosphorus and 7.4% potassium and 14% nitrogen. Which the nitrogen is only concern as it’s in flower mode both are the left hand one is further on in flower IDK why maybe more water or feed or better conditions likely I think it has better soil over all from use of other potted plants.. I have had little $ lately. Anyway

Should I give Potash plus asap? I want to. And should I use it at normal dose I think it’s 20ml for 10lt ? 2ml per 1lt and I’d give 1.5lt drink. So should I give it 3ml per 1.5ltr or stick to 2ml per 1.5lt ? The plants used to potassium at 8%~ Potash plus is 14-2 PK

Thanks anyone who can help and any guidance for info on Flowering and what to do and need for it.

Powerfeed have fert for flower. I’ve never used it,but I think the one for cactus is ok. Manutec PK is used every two weeks in flower from memory. So maybe 3 week and 5 week give them some PK. Be careful with Manutec nutes they can be strong and burn your plants.
Next grow, try and find some cannabis nutes, they have feed charts that help with fert dosages.

And manutec liquid potash is supa supa alkaline and will push ure ph through roof
I use it for ph up sometimes in flower
Go-go juice is helpful 2 innoculate young plants as good all rounder, not sure if use in flower
