I have an Ac Infinity humidifier which i essentially need to run 24/7 to maintain 60%

I am getting white dust built up on everything - My exhaust sock, My fans and that means its all over my plants.
My plants seem to grow as normal and i haven't really noticed it in the smoke, But id rather not have it at all.

Is there some other way to avoid this ? Buying demineralised water is not a viable option because i would need almost a 2L bottle every second/third day 5L is about $12 so i would be spending $24 a week on fucking water over a year that's $1,250.

I have been using rainwater when i can but that's about to dry up.

Anyone know any products that can remove mineral partials from backyard tap water or some option relatively cheap ?
Thanks.

That's the only way you'll get the calcium and magnesium out of your tap water
