G'day everyone. I used to be a regular on ozstoners way back in what feels like another life and while it saddens me to have seen that site shit the bed I'm beyond tickled pink to see so many old members here on what seems to be a much more modern and well kept site. I didn't even know this site existed until tonight because I've been living under a rock for quite some time now and thought the online scene had all but died as even icmag doesn't have that many aussies posting any more but a nice member there mentioned this site and it's almost given me a feeling of returning home after having a quick look around here.
I'll be beginning my first grow in 4 years tomorrow and will start a diary when things get interesting. It's mostly going to be hybrids made with Ace's Malawi as I need to get a decent yield of quality bud that will last a while because I became a big believer in preservation before I was forced to give up our favourite hobby and will be doing seed runs every time I add new genetics to the garden. First up will be some damn near ancient Amnesia Haze that gets first dibs because of age and then after that it's gonna get real interesting with some landraces like Manipuri from the real seed company, worked sativas like Panama from Ace seeds, Caribe from Cannabiogen, etc. I'll keep the best mothers, hybridize everything while making F2s because why not? and when I run out of new genetics to plant it's on to experimenting with the F2s and small scale testing of hybrids to see if they're worth playing with too. I will of course be taking a break from playing around to do a seedless run when I run low on bud but I'm hoping I can get that down to a once a year thing so I can concentrate on the pollen chucking as that's where the real fun is.
Guess that about covers everything so I look forward to getting to know you all again and wish everyone a bumper crop.
