New here, but not new to growing. In fact,I've been doing this for about 35 years on and off,
mostly on,and still learning everyday.
I started out young and fit doing guerilla grows in N.Ps carrying backpacks of soil mixes deep into the bush.
Then the first hydro shop in town opened up in "91" and was a game changer.
I bought a 1000w metal halide,aquired some skunk no.1 cuttings and haven't looked back.
Unfortunately the pure skunk is long gone, along with super skunk, northern lights and the lemon and mango haze.
But I have a skunk-haze hybrid still going strong from the late nineties(see pic).
A skunk was crossed with a 11-12 week haze pheno, creating "Hunk" with a flower time of 9-10wks.
The pic is about 7-8wks from memory.
Anyway,I look forward to exchanging knowledge and possibly genetics with you all. Grow on!

Welcome on board, I'm loving the name you chose. Those plants definitely have 'legs'.

Nice work.

you got balls to do that where you did. respect.
I remember in my youth,I'd stick seeds in the flower beds in Belconnen mall
a few got 3 or 4 sets of leaves, but then were gone.

Haha, no worries. The Lighthouse is a great meetup spot.

Some people call it the Lighty, some call it the Fighty.

I like to call it the Rorty, their alcohol prices are shithouse for an average venue.

Shit, the missus and I were coming 3rd in the trivia comp until the last round when the sports questions started coming up :ROFLMAO:

Came second at the Transit bar though.

Good pool tables there too, seems that's rare in Canberra from our experience.

Welcome ZZ!
Love a good Skunk!

Don't let the LEDers here give ya to much shit mate!

We have a small but loyal HPS fam here that will have ya back! šŸ¤£
Thanks Dotts,"L.E.D's are the future". how long have we been hearing that?
I've grown under MH,HPS,CMH and combinations of all three for a long time. with pretty good results.
I've been waiting and watching the L.E.D's development for years.
12 months ago I bought 2 double red boards from Growlights Australia.
And I have to say "the future is now!"
I've used them in combination with CMH and HPS,but I think they shine brightest on their own!
Producing more weight, sharper terpenes and thicker trichomes.
CMH and HPS still have a place in my tents, but really it's horses for courses.
