I have a spare room where I put a small oil heater, an oscilating fan, and drying nets. Harvest and wet trim the bigger flowers first, then over the next few days the medium then smaller. The oil heater is on very low and by the time 7 days is done it's all mostly ready for jarring.
I've tried not watering for 2 days prior to chop but ended up with a chemically tasting bud (yes I ran plain water through them the previous 2 days).
Flat spots because of the nets? Noone seems to notice or care.

Wet trimming should be punished by death.

Hang whole plant to dry at 60rh and 60f for 1-2 weeks

then trim, jar and cure.

For sure, with pure Sativa's.

Indica's/Indi-dom's don't get shown that much respect. Just whatever method is practical at the time.

Some of us still live under prohibition, where if you're busted it's no use having pounds of wet fan leaves and big stems around.
Coppers love to weigh roots and sometimes even soil and pots here. Because of this type of thing and chance of rippers , I usually hang up branches and take as many fan leaves possible off to compost wet. Then buds off when the thin stems are just pre snap dry. And trim bud soon as possible, to jar, hide jars, burp etc.
