Good to hear that you got it sorted.

A couple of additional things to consider…..
my small dehumidifier, I turn off at night due to light leakage from the unit, even tho I tape up the leds on top of the unit.
Light leaks out from under the top of the unit.
Also, it flashes a fucking blue light when the reservoir fills up With water.
I guess the designers really want to get your attention. Ironic…..

Apart from running a small dehumidifier most of the time.

if it’s only the room that’s got high rh, I have a fan blowing lower rh into the room, from another room and open a window if it’s lower outside.

I find that all 3 of those things tend to work together. Most of the time I can control the rh to be between 48% to 63% depending on what the girl needs.

I only use the bigger machine when it’s raining outside and the rh raises to 75%+, but does a great job.

I had a 3 week period where I was using the big machine every day in the morning and afternoon for around 20 min, to get the rh down from 89%. Also had to turn the outside Inlet off for a while as the outside air was way too high Rh.

to control humidity the other way……
for the small clone tent, i got a small humidifier from Kmart. Was like $60 or something. That works a treat to add mist to an environment for the little ones that need high rh.
Can easily control up to 80%
