Cation exchange polymers

Anyone know anything about cation exchange polymer for buffering PH in DWC or anyone tried Torus ph perfect or even oyster shells in the res. Next grow I want to go back to the trusty DWC but haven't the time to check and adjust ph constantly and 1000 bucks for a controller can get fucked

It's 60 bucks for 500 ml you soak it in it . From what I've read its got so e sort of cation exchange polimer in it that exchanges acid somehow so I "THINK" it locks up ph down and releases it at a certain PH I read another article on cation exchange polymers that you charge with ph down or citric acid and they do the same

Interesting find, mate. How much for the refills/recharge?

Apparently you only need to recharge them every 3 months fuck for the time saved it's well worth it
