Hi all , after a bit of advice , ordered two lots of beans through herbies but they got seized by biosecurity Australia, had them insured so herbies resent under different name and address and once again they were seized. Anyone else having issues , is there anywhere in Oz that anyone could recommend.

its over for the seed game my best bet is whatever seeds you have is to clone out and use sts to reverse and make fems etc
use youtube or the forums but this is our only hope for now or buy seeds from so many web siters and send them all over the place and see how that goes

I would avoid herbies. I got my refund off them and am glad. I tried like 3-4 different addresses and all got taken. Once upon a time they were good until they got figured out.

I placed a small order with herbies ($40) and the insurance was almost the cost of the order anyway, so I thought I'd try my luck and didn't get it. Got excited when I got a confirmation email and tracking and placed 2 more orders. All together I guess $200 between the 3 orders. They told me that 85% of orders get through, so I figured 1 or 2 would make it. All 3 were intercepted and a note added saying they were destroyed.
I emailed herbies and asked if they can at least give me a partial refund. They refused and keep saying that 85% of orders are still getting through. My fault for not paying for insurance I guess, but I am avoiding them now.

Yeah, my order from Attitude has been "stuck" in customs since the 29th of October. I'm pretty sure I know what has happened so that was $100 down the drain but whatever.
I reached out to Attitude just to check in but they said they can't do anything, which is fair enough, I'll just cop it.
I'm pretty sure there's a letter in the mailbox telling me to stop being naughty but I don't usually get mail so I'm not going to bother checking the box just for those dickheads.

Ive been ordering seeds for friends, fam an myself for the past 6 years (mostly from MSNL an attitude), never had a problem til a bit over 2 years ago.
I’ve lost over $2000 worth of seeds to cuntstoms in the past 3 years, (should say all these ones I tried were all uk or eu) I’d fail with one seedbank an then go an try another. Think I’ve tried about 4 banks in total.
Usually I’d do a test order of $100 to see if the they were legit an going to make it through then after the first order I’d do an order of anywhere between the $350-$800 (cos as I said I was ordering for a few different people)
Most of the time they would make it through but I think the bigger orders were a bit more noticeable, then this past year I feel they’ve cracked down a bit harder. I think they’re watching stuff from Europe pretty hard anyway.
From what I’ve seen on here North American/ candian banks are a bit more reliable so I think 7 east is probably the best bet cunts just have to keep quiet about they’re shipping

Another option is to take note of the breeder from a seedbank and try to deal direct with them. Some will offer international shipping.

When seeds are intercepted - randomly - if the officer is very diligent or bored - pics are taken and a report is written which is distributed so people know what to look out for. Including packaging, x-ray pics, etc. Also profiles, usually for 12 mths are put on the sender as well as the delivery name and address here. So, that source is to some degree knocked out for a period of time unless they change their methods up fast. They need to be nimble and so do we. Once again - beans are a very low priority.
