Ants?

I have some black ants wandering around my ladies...so my question, do I have to remove/kill them? I hears they can bring pests into the growing environment...and what is the best to get rid off them? I appreciate your help...cheers

Borax and honey. Mix together 50/50 will be fine.

They will take it back to the nest and die.
You're right ants and aphids work together, they will protect the aphids and farm the honeydew they make.

I've had drone ants come out and make a queen right in the root system of one of my plants. Has happened 2 or 3 times. Had to just chuck the plant and potting mix.

Are they digging into the media like their making a colony?

not yet, they wandering up and down the plants...i put out honey and borax bait....they fully going for it...i positioned one in each lady and one on the floor....30 minutes later there all over the baits....forming a line to their nest...followed the road of ants and found a crack in the concrete where they come in...sealing it right now....

thx...that's exactly what i did...
