Hi people,
Hope you all are doing well. I am glad to be here and hope to learn a lot from this site. I have just recently got into weed during covid restrictions and my love for the plant has grown over time. So I decided to embrace the art of growing and enjoy the process. I have recently came across a website called 'seed city' which you might know since they seem quite popular. But my concern here is , is it ok to purchase and have them ship the seeds into Australia, Vic state? Will I get into trouble? Or are there any others options that can be done locally? Thanks a bunch in advance!

Welcome, have ordered from seed city before but they never made it past customs, didn't even want to do a reship and just refunded.

@Yuser420 welcome aboard mate..I've tried seedcity and I've had 50/50 luck with them and another I've tried recently is Pev seeds which came through in original packs and there's fastbuds if you're into auto's and the best is to just stay on the TSE forum and you'll more than likely WIN some..Good luck with it all bud..oh yeah there's whitewidow.rocks seeds and they are they get here too..

Fems are less stressful for a newb, they 100% know they’ll get a choof from minimal amount of plants.
apparently auto are a lot suitable for newbie than feminised right ? that's what I have read anyway. so I am thinking of starting from autos and see how it goes.

I grow both autos and photo's and for me personally I'd say photo's are much easier in the long run, you can have a couple of stuff ups with a photo and she'll still have more chances of rock'n compared to an auto, if you stuff up an auto just once she's not going to give you back as much. Auto's are great don't get me wrong but for a newbie I'd say photo's mate or better still both..good luck though bud ☮️👍

Thank you @Sticky67 . I am thinking of growing indoors since the weather is too harsh around Melbourne area. (Or is it a good time now?) I think I will get both then. Thanks for the input.

Yeah I think it might be to late for outside now in Vic but I really don't know and if you have the chance to do inside safely then go for it mate, you won't be disappointed mate if anything the total opposite, there's nothing better than your own grow 💯☮️

aren't they need more light hours? like at least 20 hours of light?
yeah 18/24 at the start for photos. The guys that grow autos will often run more hours then that for the hole grow. You can grow photos 18/24 for a month then 12/12 for flower. Finished just over 3 month, about same as auto would finish. They are very sensitive autos, wrong ph,pot size etc and you have spent 3 month growing 7g.
