By the way, any kind of popup could have caused that so don't worry, if you were infected Windows would be putting you through steps to clean your PC, there would be huge red Windows prompts saying you have "THIS SPECIFIC" malware.

Although rare now because of streaming, sites especially non legal ones like this (lookmovie) usually sell popups to companies, and those companies are mostly as legally gray as the website, so your anti virus probably has that company popup link on block because they don't trust it or it was reported by another user. That means when the pop up tries to come through, your anti virus stops it and pings you to let you know something happened even though you didn't see anything. That's what happens to me when I am using torrent and streaming sites.
Yep that's the only negative thing. But lookmovie isn't the worst when it comes to it, some websites are absolute dogshit filled with popups. You end up getting 9 tabs of spam trying to get a video to play.

Then when you accidentally hit the screen through the movie/show it fucks you over with popups for another 30 seconds before you can get the video working again.

I'm using Chrome and never had issues with lookmovie. If I didn't come across it I would probably be downloading torrents like Benno

I still dodge streaming sites because of the popups and b/s, even though I've a pop-up blocker and it's solid I prefer to download and archive

it only activates AV when i hit play on some shows on look movie , not when i go to the look movie site itself
also i'm not sure it's a virus as such but whatever it is AV blocks it & says it's black listed , guessing it's probably a site it's blocking

Yeah sounds like it's being overprotective. Chrome normally will pick up sketchy sites and block access for myself.

As long as you can refresh and watch most of the shows without interruptions it should still be worth it.

I used to use AVG years ago, probably around 2008-2012 but with all the latest versions of windows it seems unnecessary..

Chrome will always be one step ahead filtering out the suspicious stuff before any antivirus even gets a chance to step in

i'll take a screen shot next time it happens & post it up here , i use chrome on a win 10 laptop with nortons AV , it's happened a couple times & sometimes the site stops me from watching the show or movie altogether , other times AV will say it's blocked the site or whatever it's blocked but still let me watch the show

it's an older laptop though , it was a windows 8 machine when i brought it new , i use it like a desktop machine , on a computer desk the laptop sits on the pull out tray that you would normally put a keyboard on , attached monitor , wireless keyboard & mouse sit on top of the desk

Yep hes right, Norton isn't as required as it used to be, Windows is on top of it now unlike the old days. Windows Defender, comes with Windows when you install it, used to be a joke, now its the GOAT. As long as your windows is up to date, anti-virus is no longer required, Windows Defender is far superior to any other anti virus. The only one that can be better for malware and PUP removal IIRC is Malwarebytes, but even that is pretty much as bloaty as Norton because you just don't need it anymore as long as your windows is up to date. After removing it your PC runs and starts up faster too.

Yep that sounds like a typical dodgy advertiser popup, nothing to worry, happens with torrent sites too. You don't encounter these much anymore because most websites get sponsored by very clear and above board businesses so their links are whitelisted. It can look a bit scary but its a good popup to get.

Saw it a few nights ago.
The director must love schlongs that's all I can say.

Apart from that it's an okay film. They are working on part 3 which will be about the kids with Cilian im guessing.

If it's the same one I watched (probably is) then it's got a blurred watermark which moves all over the screen which is distracting as fk 😆.

Audio is not the best but it's definitely watchable.
