My wife was complaining about the smell and said you need to fix it now. It was because i have ducting running from one tent to another without a can and made sure the flowering tent was the offender then went down to bunnings today and got some pvc y fittings a roll of fly screen use some of activated carbon from my home-brew supply to make a cheap filter i know this looks like dodgey as fuck but it's working really well and no smell at all.
First photo is the exhaust ducting coming out of flower tent the second photo is inside the flower tent drawing the air-conditioning though to veg tent and yes I did forget to wash the carbon first.

Highly recommend getting some refillable carbon filters down the road.

I've been through about 3 carbon filters since getting back into growing and it feels like a waste throwing them out.
Now I can just easily unscrew the ends and replace the charcoal when necessary 👍🏻

This is pretty much what I have made. It's refillable only use 500g of carbon between the two of them and the airflow isn't restricted. When I upgrade to a six inch exhaust fans, I will be getting two six inch refillable cans at the same time.

It's a good temporary solution, if it works well until you upgrade then that's all that matters 👍🏻 nice work

Yes, it's a patch, but it'll work for a few months. My mate jokes around all time his dad called us dodgy bustards inc, as when we were young apprentices and had no cash and had do a work and make our shit.
Thank God those days are over.
