This is a cheap and easy alternative to buying a worm bin, made one a couple of years ago and love it. The worms thrive and you can collect the castings after a few months. I have ditched my contaminated mushrooms in there and have had them outgrow the contam, I chuck my leaves and small stems in and while the worms don't really like it (compared to cabbage and lettuce) they'll eat it. Props to this woman for sharing the idea, I just used a mixture of Coco and a bit of cow manure to begin with and top dress another bedding with my roots and Coco that are left after harvest. You can get the worm eggs delivered for about $20-$30.
