Does anyone use this or something similar? Looks very expensive. Was hoping to find something cheaper.

Open for ideas and suggestions. End of the day I've never trimmed...

Was also looking at a four-pack of these for $26.78.

Agreed on not needing a tray.

But, invest in some decent trimmers. Those ones pictured or similar are the go, spring loaded. I buy the ones from bunnings which are probably a similar quality to that.

Unless you're trimming dry its not going to catch any tricomes anyway

I bought a pair of spring loaded "trimming" scissors like the ones in the pic
threw the cunts away after trimming an OZ or so, they are garbage

All you need is a good set of small scissors, the smaller and sharper the better to trim buds

A good pair of hedge cutters

I do have a drying net , it's a necessity when drying large amounts

These are a bit pricey but don't gum up near as much as others I've used ...

One thing I've noticed is a lot of curved blades too. Thoughts?

Does it help? Any point? Waste? Not worth the extra set of tools?

Same. Well, a little different. Just a small 6" pair of dressmakers scissors I've had for the last 20 odd years.

Hand strip sun/shade leaves and rubbish off, and like porky, trim buds/branches into esky or plastic bin. Use that trim and popcorn for hash runs. Then use string or those collapsible netted drying racks for drying manicured branches/buds.
