Hey,

So is Coco/perlite + nutes a sustainable way to grow if your growing outside?

I'm new to this but seems like a hard way to grow if your not fully hydro .? And the nutes are pricey... like I have read and been told..it's only a weed..

Cheers

Mate if u growing outside anything goes, hell iv;e seen plants in old cow turds
U don't HAVE 2 grow in coco perl with pricey nutes, but it's a proven go to
Give it a go in what ever u got and see if it works 4 u
As long as u provide some nitrogen early with a bit of P.K later on, mission control ure on ure way

U can spend a fortune on top of line amendments for ure top of line medium, but unless ure seed wants 2 play ball .....it's all in genetics
Stick around enter a few comps and theirs ure genetics sorted
Theres a forum on here by a highly intelligent and well respected [and good looking] member about growing canna as a poor man......probs get a few ideas on there mate

Presumably you can’t grow in the ground (?)
so get the biggest pots you can afford and fill with the best potting mix you can afford.
Can get cheap nutes from Bunnings that will do ok.
Don’t have to aim for world record plant/s first time around. Keep it simple and you’ll do ok.

If you can put in the ground even better.

Well I can grow in the ground but not sure if the soil would be sufficient..

Ok to what depth?
It doesn't have to be deep, but will depend on your soil and soil life, cannabis grows wide roots not deep except for tap roots, mix it thru if its barren or if its got some life in it a few inches will do, I just throw it on top and rake it around then mulch

I usually go double the amount per meter than the bag says, depends how large your planning on getting the plant
