Which one did you buy? The website doesn’t give much info. Any idea how many watts?I was in Bunnings and was surprised to see a hydro section with grow lights for regular indoor plants.
I bought one of the lights for my seedlings. It saved setting my big light for a while and the seedlings are growing like a 'house on fire.'
It's not necessarily about amount of watts. It's about light intensity, measured in PPFD. I've never used a light/PAR meter, I just observe if plants are growing ok. I use 135 watt LED for seedlings, until about 3-4 week stage - about 60cm distance. Could grow seedlings with less watts, by placing lights closer to plants.Well, knock me down with a feather. I couldn't believe the range of grow lights on eBay.
They look better and cheaper than what I bought.
Mine is just 20 watts but it's done the job.
I don't know a great deal about LED but they must be the way of the future.
I wonder how many watts is needed at least for the veg stage?
